The Wild Cousins

Roux and Praline with their 1st cousins! The funny thing is all three of my sisters had our daughters the same year! Is that wild??? And no, we certainly did not plan it that way but it worked out for the best, now they can really relate to one another.

Update on Pralines 8th month old locks coming soon!

OMG!!! My two sisters and I all had children in the same year (1994) - and Goldie and one of her cousins are only two days apart! And we didn't plan it either! How coincidental! Also, my two sisters both had their first boys in the same year (1990). Needless to say, all our children (7 in all) are very close and close in age despite the geography separating them.

I was so excited I forgot to mention how beautiful/handsome they all are. They look like great kids!

Myself, my sister, and my first cousin all had kids the same year.((So Ironic))
Since then, every holiday has been so much fun and filled with an assortment of children ranging from a couple of months to a couple of years in between.

Also, I am thinking about locking my son’s hair. I let it grow out for a period of months into a nice fro then decided to wack it off. Every time I mention locking his hair I get a lot of negative feedback from friends and family. You daughter’s locs are beautiful and provide much inspiration to me on my thoughts about locking his hair………………….

Brenda, I know, it's so nice to have kids the same age as their cousins.

CV, Well, nothing different from mine. I keep her retightened every 3 weeks and
because of her hair typr I only wasj it every two weeks until she matures.
Glad you think it's looking good.

CloudNine,
Almost, the one in the middle is the daughter of the sister I just locked and the other is my 2nd youngest sister daughter. The is one other missing that is the same age.

Nothing like growing up with cousins around your age. Serves for fun times growing up, wonderful memories and a stronger family. One of my sisters and one of my brothers just became first time grandparents. I will be a grandmother again in May. We promised that our grandkids would grow up together. Glad Roux and Praline have this opportunity.
