If you read my post yesterday you probably figured I was not feeling my locks. Well, thanks to Blaqkofi, Brenda, Ayankha & Sistalocd responses I'm now out of my funk. Thanks for the pick up ladies!So, I took the time to go back through my photos and found that I was at a totally different phase a year ago. My little babies were shorter due to "one" of my many cuts to rid my bunched ends, plus they were thinner. I could not wait to be where I am today only to have yet another complaint.!! Go figure.
After seeing this reality check I sooooo appreciate where I am....

Comparison shots are a must and make excellent pick me ups. We all go through our up and down lock funks but still are in love with our hair.

Isn't being nappy fun!! Hey girl. Thanks for the comment.For your question,I did a braid out in that pic. I put mousse in my hair and cornrowed it in a slanted direction. I did about 6 cornrows for that style

That's how it works, we long for a goal and then when we get there, we have a new goal. Your locks are gorgeous. Anytime you have any doubts..just ask.
Praise the Lord! I tried to post to your previous post, but was unsuccessful. You have lovely locks and yes sometimes we need a reality check. It seems as if your picture history has served you well. Glad to hear that the funk has resolved. Be blessed!!!

I'm glad you pulled yourself out of the funk, because your locs are slammin as always. BUT, I do feel ya on feeling the funk, I too was there for a minute, but I got a retightening from Mrs. Great Gigi and came right up out of that funk, I will update my blog real soon about it.
Let me just say that although I'm a fan of all types of locks, I've never LOVED sisterlocks until seeing yours. I always thought they were too small and when I started locking, I went for the traditional size instead.
I've been following your blog for some time and although I'm mostly a lurker, I have to tell you that you and your locks are BEYOND GORGEOUS!!!
