Dr Cornwell Visits DFW Ladies

Gigi and Blaqkofi did a fabulous job of putting this event together. Big shout out to ya!
After the visit With Dr. Cornwell and connecting with her Sisterlock vision I am even more interested in taking the Consultants class.
I may be doing it sooner than later.....
If anyone has taken the class and would like to offer your experience please do. I invite pro's and con's.

What a blessing.......to my surprise Blaq brought along her sister (pictured below right) who I connected with the first time I met her. What a powerhouse soldier she is!!! I just love and adore her spirit. Don't let this be your last visit girlfriend. Blaq, thanks for sharing!!!
"T" in return fell for my baby Praline and found words of praise as Praline dedicated the appropriate Sam Cooke song"A Change is Gonna Come" to Dr. Cornwell.

And below (right), my fabulous hair twin Jen/ ! She is another DFW'er that has the spirit of a lamb and totally gifted in making anyone feel right a home and welcomed.

Thanks ladies, you've done it once again!

Your daughter is so pretty and so are you. I know I'm interested in taking a retightening class. I probably wouldn't retighten on my own, but it would be nice just in case I had to. And how sweet of Praline to dedicate "A Change is Gonna Come" to Dr. Cornwell. I know I would have cried. Thanks for sharing.

I am so proud to know you. Your daughter's voice is so mature, so beautiful, and so pleasant to the ears. I thank God for that wonderful treat. Sorry, the photos I took of you and her did not come out very well. But it is better than no pictures at all.

I felt like such a groupie fan at the meet and greet. I was on a natural high for hours after the event was over.

I will be coming to you to do my retightenings. So hurry up as soon as you possibly can. I am there, There, THERE! I AM seriously considering waiting on YOU before I get my Sisterlocks. Just think, Sis. RJQueen10 would be your first official customer! I really like the way that sounds!

we did have a wonderfultime! wow. doing sisterlocks. that would really be taking it to another level. i had more clients than time. i don't know if it would be like that in dfw or if that is in line with your intentions. it is enjoyable and rewarding. it's a blessing to help sisters accept all of themselves and then transform. i was amazed at how many women had absolutely no idea what their real hair texture was like becuase they had been living a lye for so, so, so, so long. i say go for it!

How awesome!!! I met Dr. Cornwell at San Diego State University a few years ago when I had just got my locks, she was very down-to-earth, and invited me to come to her office anytime and talk to her; she is actually a full time professor there, she is truly an inspiration.

LaChanda, what a beautiful post! Thanks so much for the shoutout and support for T. She is indeed my Shero and you are indeed raising one in Ms. Praline. How blessed she is to know her natural and cultural heritage at such a young age and on top of that to be blessed with such a mature voice! God has surely poured his blessings on each of you and I'm proud to know ya. Go on take the consultant course. I have a feeling you too, will have more customers than you know what to do with. Blessings, Blaq

And just when I thought your blog couldn't get any better there you go again. I love the way you educate and illustrate. Keep up the good work sis.
