Another SDA Sister Locked Up!

What you say??? What you say? Finally, after months of following blogs, researching locks and meeting several of the DFW SL ladies while out and about.... she did it! And guess what, she did them all by herself, well with just a little help from your 13 year old with parting. (SDA = Seventh Day Adventist)

I was so proud to see her when she showed up church sportin those baby locks! KR also locked her husband's hair almost two years ago and then two weeks are another one of our church members liked hers so much she asked her to do them for her too.

I went with a freestyle today only beacuse I'm crazy during this time of year and can't find time to put my Wrap-a-locks in. I miss my WAL

KR - Big Shout out to ya!!! Maybe you'll join us in Blogdom. hint...hint!

Wow, she did a great job. Her baby locks look really good. And your locks always look fabulous, freestyled or not.

She did an outstanding job. Did she mention how long it took her to get them done. They are so small I know that it wasn't an easy job but definitely a labor of love!

It's KR here. Thanks, Creyole for the shout out. U have a true gift of encouragement and passion for loc freedom. Thanks for answering all of my ?'s and encouraging me to go ahead and lock it up. I LOVE MY HAIR and though it took me 3 days to get all 450+ braided, it was worth every minute. My daugher was an angel to help me by making my parts tiny and straight. Tra, I introduced myself to you at the fair and Blue Mesa. Sister-in-locks, I met at Blue Mesa as well. Keep blogging y'all. They are an invaluable resource.

Be Blessed and Free!

You two look great in your locks. It's getting so tempting to put a set of braidlocks in my daughters hair.

her SLs are pretty! This is EXACTLY how I am hoping mine turn out when i lock (I am at about her length) - I plan to wear them up too.. spaces or no spaces :-) She did a great job!

As always, yours look great too, Creyole.

OMG I certainly do remember that I just saw you at the State Fair a couple of months ago. I was trying to remember why your face looked so familiar (-:

Once again GR8 job KR!

Stoney,
Ha! Thanks for your comment but that "really" does not matter much to us and I personally do not agree with that theory....which is why I am Free!

Hi,
just shouting out that I am just joining you all on Dec 18, 2007 and I am also SDA. I emailed you but not sure if that was proper now that I have read Maryee's suggestions on LHBE... New at this. Live in MD and really love your blog. I love my hair and am enjoying the whole blog experience of sharing.
